RSL Remembrance Ride 2026

8-14 November 2026 - Wangaratta, Victoria

In 2026, the RSL Remembrance Ride is back and ready to spin up some community spirit amongst cycle-loving veterans. This time, it’s headed to the Victorian High Country.

Aimed at giving veterans the opportunity to challenge themselves on a variety of routes in a supportive environment, the RSL Remembrance Ride is an odyssey of camaraderie, determination and fun. Along the way, riders connect with fellow veterans and local veteran communities, while raising funds to help preserve War Memorials.

The 2026 Ride

The planned route for 2026 is a 441km adventure through the Victorian High Country. With Wangaratta as the base, riders will take on challenging terrain, explore iconic towns, and even sneak in the odd vanilla slice.

Sunday, 8 November - Arrive in Wangaratta, set up camp.

Monday, 9 November - Warby Range Loop (62km)

Tuesday, 10 November - Chiltern Bakery (97km)

Wednesday, 11 November - Remembrance Day service Wangaratta, o/c ride to Myrtleford (53km)

Thursday, 12 November - Myrtleford Monster (98km)

Friday, 13 November - Stanley loop (77km)

Saturday, 14 November - Transit back to Wangaratta (54km)

Good to know

  • Closing date for registrations is Friday, 28th August 2026

  • Cost to ride will be approximately $300pp

  • Cyclists will need an AusCycling membership or to hold cycling insurance with another organisation. ‘Lifestyle Membership’ is recommended for social riders.

  • The majority of riding is on gravel roads, so cyclists must have an appropriate bike for this surface.

  • Booked accommodation will be camping. Cyclists can choose to stay in commercial accommodation, but that is an individual responsibility in terms of arrangement and cost.
