Limited Edition Anzac Biscuit Tins Arriving Soon

MEDIA RELEASE

The popular commemorative limited edition Anzac Biscuit tins will arrive in stores soon. The Returned & Services League of Australia’s limited edition Anzac Biscuit tins, with the traditional treat inside, will be available from major supermarkets and selected independent stores and outlets from the beginning of April.

Each year, RSL Australia’s National Office curates special limited edition Anzac Biscuit tins with unique designs. Inside each tin are the traditional recipe Anzac biscuits, a symbol of wartime resourcefulness and a treat enjoyed across generations.

This year’s four distinct Biscuit Tin designs feature Animals in the Australian Defence Force (ADF), Coastwatchers, Medical Evacuations and the Australian Nursing Service, with the historic photographs provided from the Australian War Memorial’s collection.

RSL Australia National President, Peter Tinley AM, says the commemorative tins have become collectors’ items and the RSL receives numerous enquiries leading up to their release each year.

“Collectors then search out the tins at the various supermarkets and stores.”

The Animals in the ADF tins will be available from Coles supermarkets, the Coastwatchers’ tins from Aldi, Medical Evacuation tins from Woolworths and selected independent stores, and the Australian Nursing Service tins from both Coles and Woolworths.

“A portion of the profits from the sale of the Anzac Biscuits and the commemorative tins is donated back to the RSL to fund our vital work supporting the well-being of veterans and their families around Australia,” Peter Tinley said.

“This year’s Anzac Biscuit tins continue to honour the Anzac history and commemorate the service and sacrifice of our service personnel.

“As well as purchasing the biscuits in commemorative tins around Anzac Day, Australians can also support RSL programs year-round by purchasing RSL Anzac Biscuits with the RSL Logo on them, available at a range of outlets.
