Policy Officer

Reporting to the Policy and Government Relations Advisor, this role is at the forefront of advocacy and policy development, preparing high-quality briefs and submissions that influence outcomes for veterans and their families. The Policy Officer works closely with a diverse range of stakeholders including the RSL State branches, and the Marketing and Communications Team, and synthesises research to ensure the policy agenda of RSL Australia reflects the voices of its stakeholders.

  • Permanent, full-time role

  • Remuneration circa $120k + super, according to experience

  • Additional benefits include free on-site parking and extra Christmas leave

  • Canberra based, with flexibility for 1-day WFH per week.
